Pep Guardiola, the current coach of Manchester City, has stated his desire for Bernardo Silva to complete his career with the club. This statement comes amid speculation regarding Silva's future, particularly as his contract is set to expire at the end of the current season.

Silva, who is 31 years old, has been linked to potential transfers to Barcelona and Juventus, as well as Major League Soccer. Guardiola's comments were made following a 4-0 FA Cup quarter-final victory against Liverpool, where assistant coach Pep Lijnders suggested that Silva's nine-year tenure at the club might be concluding.
