Bernardo Silva confirmed his departure from Manchester City after a successful nine-year tenure, which began in 2017. In an emotional letter, he reflected on his journey and the significant impact he made at the club, helping them secure 31 major trophies, including the UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, and multiple Carabao Cup titles.

Silva's official announcement came on April 16, 2023, and he will leave at the end of the season. During his time at Manchester City, he made 451 appearances, scoring 76 goals and providing 77 assists, placing him among the club's top 10 appearance makers, surpassing former stars like David Silva.
