Plateau PDP Warns APC Against Governor Installation in 2027 - Focus on Current Tenure Urged

The Plateau State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has advised the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, to abandon the idea of installing a governor in 2027. The PDP emphasized that Plateau State belongs to the people and expressed satisfaction with Governor Caleb Mutfwang.

Yilwatda, the APC governorship candidate for 2023, was urged to focus on his current tenure rather than future ambitions. In response, the state PDP Publicity Secretary, Jonathan Amande, criticized Yilwatda's statement as mere rhetoric to boost APC supporters' morale.

Amande stressed that the people of Plateau will decide their governor, emphasizing the need for practical governance over ambitious promises.
