Plateau Governor Unveils 2027 Ambition Amid PDP Concerns

Plateau State Governor Caleb Muftwang revealed his political platform for the 2027 election, expressing concerns about the future of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). In an interview with the Nigerian Guild of Editors, Muftwang emphasized the need for the PDP to address its challenges.

He highlighted his administration's priorities, including governance strategies akin to football coaching and initiatives in tourism, housing, and agriculture. Muftwang also mentioned the development of a new estate for civil servants and the creation of the Plateau Commodities Marketing Company to support farmers.

Additionally, he discussed plans to unlock the state's tourism potential with the United Nations Development Programme.
