Peter Obi Rejects Building Naming, Supports Education and Health

Former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, rejected the decision by the management of Ladi Lourd School of Nursing and Midwifery in Ihiala, Anambra State, to name a new administrative building after him. Despite his contributions to the school during his tenure, Obi publicly declined the honor, stating a preference for supporting educational and health institutions over personal recognition.

He later presented a cheque of 15 million naira to the college to support health and education initiatives.
