Peter Obi Laments Deteriorating Democracy and Vote-Buying in Nigeria

Peter Obi, a former Anambra State governor and Labour Party presidential candidate, voted in the 2023 elections at Umudim Akasi Agulu. He lamented the deteriorating democracy in Nigeria, citing the prevalence of vote-buying and the influence of bad governance.

Obi highlighted the need for citizens to be vigilant and not sell their votes for monetary gain. He also criticized the lack of accountability in governance.

Despite not being on the ballot, Obi expressed support for his friend, Dr. Georg Moghalu, who is contesting in the elections.
