Peter Obi and Seriake Dickson Attend NDC Convention in Abuja

Peter Obi and Seriake Dickson attended the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) National Convention held in Abuja. The convention is set to take place on May 9, 2026, at the Ahmadu Bello Event Centre.

It is expected to host delegates from across Nigeria. Prior to the convention, a strategic meeting was held, which included former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Both Peter Obi and Seriake Dickson, who are former governors, are anticipated to represent the NDC in the upcoming 2027 general elections. Additionally, they have recently defected from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the NDC.
