NDC Reps Caucus Meets in Abuja Ahead of 2027 Elections

On Wednesday, the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) Representatives caucus convened in Abuja, led by House Minority Leader Victor Afam Ogen. The meeting included prominent party leaders such as former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi and former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.

The caucus reaffirmed its loyalty to the NDC and pledged to hold the federal government accountable in the lead-up to the 2027 general elections. Ogen emphasized the NDC's role as a major opposition party in the House of Representatives, asserting that its growing numbers would strengthen its voice both nationally and internationally.

Kwankwaso commended the lawmakers for their loyalty and urged Nigerians to register with the NDC and obtain voter cards to facilitate positive change in the upcoming elections. The caucus reiterated its commitment to serving the Nigerian people and ensuring that the government is held accountable for providing basic necessities associated with democracy and civil rule.
