Peter Obi Won 2023 Rivers Election – Rotimi Amaechi

Rotimi Amaechi claimed that Peter Obi won the 2023 Rivers election, despite the result favoring the Progressives Congress (APC). Amaechi made these statements during a discussion on X Space on Saturday, adding a twist to the controversy surrounding the election outcome.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared President Bola Tinubu of the APC as the winner, with the APC garnering the most votes in Rivers State. Amaechi also pledged to resign within one month to combat corruption if elected President in 2027.

He criticized influential individuals for allegedly stealing money from the Central Bank of Nigeria and labeled Professor Yakubu Mahmood as the worst Chairman of INEC. Amaechi promised to stop the removal of subsidies and ensure direct funding to Nigerians if elected.
