I Will End Corruption If I Become President – Amaechi

Former Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, expressed his intention to run for president in 2027 on the African Democratic Congress ticket, vowing to end corruption in Nigeria within one month of taking office. Amaechi promised sweeping reforms, including constitutional changes and eradicating corruption.

He criticized powerful figures for allegedly stealing public funds and pledged to redirect resources to benefit ordinary Nigerians. Amaechi also stated his commitment to transparency and vowed to never engage in election rigging, urging Nigerians to hold him accountable.

Additionally, he admitted to supporting Peter Obi as a presidential candidate for the Labour Party in the 2023 Rivers State election. Amaechi's bold promises and anti-corruption stance position him as a challenger to current political figures like President Bola Tinubu.
