Petition Urges Senate to Limit Central Gaming Bill to FCT

The bill, which aims to create a single regulatory framework for gaming nationwide, has faced opposition from state regulators who fear a loss of autonomy and revenue. The petition, addressed to Senate President Godswill Obot Akpabio, argues that the bill's passage would infringe on state rights and disrupt Nigeria's federal structure, citing a Supreme Court judgment supporting their stance.
