CTAG Demands Arrest of Prince Adeyemi for Alleged Fraud

The Coalition for Transparency and Accountability in Governance (CTAG) has called for the immediate arrest and investigation of Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi over allegations of impersonation and making false claims about a purported agency, the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, which CTAG asserts does not exist. Comrade Sundai Itodo, the executive director of CTAG, described Adeyemi's actions as dangerous and a pattern of misinformation aimed at undermining public institutions.

The group emphasized that Adeyemi's claims, including the assertion of a letter of appointment and the existence of 300 staff members, lack verification. They demanded that he publish a list of these alleged staff and provide evidence of their recruitment.

Furthermore, CTAG questioned Adeyemi's claims regarding a Central Bank of Nigeria account linked to the agency and alleged financial transactions involving N600 million. They urged security agencies to conduct a thorough investigation and prosecute anyone found guilty of impersonation or fraud.
