National Assembly Committee Investigates Port Concessions

The ad hoc committee of the National Assembly, chaired by Hon. Olaid Lateef, is conducting an investigation into the performance and benefits derived from federal government concessions granted to port and airport terminal operators.

This investigation aims to appraise the effectiveness of these concessions and ensure accountability. The committee has mandated stakeholders to appear before it to provide necessary insights and information regarding the operations of these concessionaires.

The press conference announcing this initiative took place in Abuja on Friday, with notable attendance from committee members including Hon. Moham Audu, Hon.

Kolawole Davidson Akinlayo, and Hon. Martin Ok Dure.
