Dickson Condoles Amaechi Over Mother's Passing in Abuja

On Thursday, former Bayelsa State Governor and National Democratic Congress leader, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, visited former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, in Abuja to offer condolences following the death of Amaechi’s mother, Dame Ezinne Mary Oduah Amaechi, who passed away at the age of 89. Dickson led a delegation to Amaechi’s residence as the family prepares for the final rites and internment ceremony scheduled for next month.

The visit is part of a series of condolence visits from various prominent Nigerians, including political leaders and religious figures, since the announcement of the matriarch's death. Amaechi, who is the running mate to the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, Atiku Abubakar, has received condolences from numerous individuals, including former Senate President David Mark and NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi, who expressed his sympathy through a message and a visit.
