Truck Overturns on Otedola Bridge, Causes Traffic Gridlock on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

An overturned truck on Otedola Bridge during the early hours of Friday led to a traffic gridlock along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The incident resulted in two serious accidents, with the first truck fully loaded overturning and spilling its contents on the road.

The Lagos State Police Command and LASTMA were on the ground for rescue and traffic control operations. Motorists were advised to drive with caution in the affected area.

Adebayo Taofiq, a spokesperson for LASTMA, confirmed the incidents and urged vigilance from drivers.
