Two Injured in Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Truck Collision

A collision involving two trucks occurred early Sunday morning around 4 AM on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, specifically in the Arepo Bridge area. The incident involved an empty American Cola truck and a Seaco truck, resulting in injuries to two individuals.

Eyewitness Mr. Ibukun Victoria reported that one driver sustained serious injuries while the other suffered minor injuries.

The crash was attributed to waste materials left on the highway, which contributed to the accident. Following the collision, the Federal Road Safety Corps intervened to manage the situation and facilitate the towing of the affected trucks, which caused significant traffic gridlock along the busy highway.
