Plateau APC mourns as National Chairman Yilwatda loses mother

The Plateau State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is in mourning following the death of the mother of the National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda. Mama Lydia Yilwatda passed away on Sunday, prompting the acting Publicity Secretary of the APC in the state, Shittu Bamaiyi, to convey the party's condolences.

The party described Mama Yilwatda's death as a personal loss to the National Chairman and the entire APC family in Plateau State and the country at large. The statement highlighted Mama Yilwatda's virtues as a devoted Christian, respected leader in the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), and a humble woman who made immeasurable efforts to boost the church in various states.

The party expressed its prayers for the late Mama's soul to rest in eternal peace.
