Senator Akpabio Assures Governor Mutfwang Won't Target Christians in Plateau State

Senator Godswill Akpabio, speaking during the official welcoming of Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State to the All Progressives Congress (APC), assured that Mutfwang would not target Christians. Akpabio emphasized the need for peace and stability in Plateau State and pledged to facilitate the return of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) to their homes by providing appropriate funds.

He also promised to work with APC leaders like Bola Tinubu to ensure the safety of both Christians and Muslims in the state. Akpabio expressed his commitment to closing down IDP camps and enabling people to return to farming to achieve food security beyond 2027.
