Mutfwang Promises Justice After Plateau Attacks

On Thursday, Governor Caleb Mutfwang visited the Dorowa Babuj community in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, Plateau State, following a recent gunmen attack that resulted in nine fatalities. During his visit, he expressed deep sorrow over the incident, describing it as a painful setback for the community.

Mutfwang reaffirmed the government's commitment to sustaining peace in the state and declared that acts of violence against innocent citizens would not be tolerated. He warned that perpetrators would face the full weight of the law and urged the youth to remain vigilant and law-abiding.

Barkin Ladi Local Government Area Chairman Stephen Pwajok commended the security operatives for their prompt response to the situation. A mass burial for the nine victims was conducted, attended by community leaders and religious figures, including Ezekiel Dachomo, who condemned the killings and called for the protection of the Christian community facing persecution.
