Mutfwang Congratulates Yilwatda as APC National Chairman

Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State congratulated Yilwatda following his emergence as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). In a statement issued on Saturday by the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, Mutfwang described Yilwatda's emergence as a consensus arrangement that reflects the party's commitment to inclusive leadership.

He noted the importance of aligning leadership with the presidential direction in preparation for the 2027 general elections. Mutfwang commended the party leaders and stakeholders for promoting unity and reform within the APC, aiming to strengthen internal cohesion and create a level playing field for members.

He acknowledged the contributions of Prof. Goshw and the unanimous adoption of strategies to reconcile aggrieved members and reorganize party membership.

Mutfwang expressed confidence in Yilwatda's professional background in digital transformation and energy research, which he believes positions him strongly to lead the party towards electoral success. He also recognized the support of national leaders from the North Central region, particularly from Plateau State.
