Plateau LG Shuts Abu Sinan High School Over Safety Concerns

The Local Government Area (LGA) in Plateau State has shut down Abu Sinan High School in Sabon Layi community over safety concerns. The closure was ordered after a site inspection revealed structural deficiencies that posed serious risks to students.

The school's chairman, John Christoph, confirmed the closure, highlighting structural compromises like cracked beams and walls. The school lacked proper ventilation, doors, windows, and toilet facilities, making the learning environment substandard.

The discrepancies in the school's identity, lack of proper infrastructure, and safety hazards prompted the immediate shutdown to prevent any potential disasters.
