Ogun Police Arrest 11 Suspects, Recover Stolen Items

The Ogun State Police Command reported the arrest of 11 suspects and the recovery of two suspected stolen vehicles, three firearms, and 25 Automated Teller Machine cards during various operations conducted between September 16 and 26, 2026. The operations were executed under the leadership of Commissioner of Police Bode Ojajuni, emphasizing effective policing and proactive enforcement.

Among the notable incidents, detectives from the Owode Egba Division recovered a stolen commercial TVS motorcycle on September 17, leading to the arrest of suspects Rasheed Abdul and Saula Meshinoye, while an accomplice remains at large. Additionally, on September 19, operatives from the Olorunda Division apprehended two suspects, Mutiu Gafar and Fatai Obasanmi, for allegedly transporting stolen electrical materials.

On September 21, SWAT operatives arrested three suspects linked to vehicle theft, and on September 22, Ameachine Anthony was arrested for an alleged N2.5 million fraud, with 25 ATM cards recovered from him. Investigations are ongoing for all cases.
