Edo State Police Arrest 37 Suspects Over Sexual and Domestic Abuse

The Edo State Police Command has apprehended 37 suspects linked to sexual and domestic abuse, along with crimes such as kidnapping, armed robbery, and cultism. Additionally, seven kidnapping suspects were arrested, two were neutralized, and 48 kidnap victims were rescued.

The command also successfully disrupted cult activities in Benin City, Auchi, and Ekpoma, resulting in the arrest of 38 cultists. Various items, including firearms, ammunition, vehicles, and mobile phones, were recovered during operations, enhancing the state's crime-fighting capabilities.
