Father of BBNaija Winner Ilebaye Arrested for Violence

Emmanuel Odiniya, the father of former Big Brother Naija winner Ilebaye Odiniya, was arrested by the Nigerian Police Force over allegations of domestic violence. The incident reportedly took place at their residence in Royal Anchor Estate, Wuye, Abuja.

Police received a distress call around midnight on Friday, prompting a response from the Wuye Division. According to a statement issued by spokesperson Josephine Adeh, officers were deployed to the scene and gained access to the compound at approximately 2:30 AM.

Upon arrival, they found Ilebaye visibly bruised and subsequently rescued her alongside her brother. Both were taken to NNPC Hospital for medical treatment.

The police confirmed that Emmanuel Odiniya is currently in custody as investigations continue to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
