Enugu Police Arrest ESN/IPOB Leader Onoh Chidera in Ngwo Raid

Enugu Police arrested Onoh Chidera, a suspected leader of the ESN/IPOB group, following intelligence reports. The operation in Ngwo led to the arrest of the 32-year-old on Saturday.

This arrest came after the dismantling of a terrorist hideout in Imo State linked to the proscribed IPOB's armed wing, ESN. The police recovered weapons and ammunition during the operation.

Asari Spare Key, identified as a key commander, was among those arrested. ACP Odeyeyiwa Olademeji led the successful operation.

The police engaged armed terrorists in a gun duel, resulting in multiple injuries and the dislodging of the hideout. The investigation aims to uncover the network and collaborators of the arrested suspects.
