Nigerian Army Arrests IPOB Commander, Rescues 11 Kidnap Victims in Joint Operation

The Nigerian Army's 34 Artillery Brigade, in a joint operation with sister security agencies, captured a key Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Eastern Security Network commander, Ifeanyi Eze, in Imo State. The operation also led to the rescue of 11 kidnap victims in Adamawa and Katsina States.

Troops recovered weapons, ammunition, mobile phones, police uniforms, and other items from the commander's hideout. Additionally, 10 motorcycles were destroyed, and stolen vehicles were dismantled for resale.

The rescued victims were reunited with their families in different local government areas. This successful operation demonstrates the military's commitment to combating criminal activities and ensuring the safety of citizens.
