Ondo Police Arrest Seven Workers for ₦20m Goods Theft

The Ondo State Police Command has apprehended seven suspects involved in the theft of goods valued at ₦20 million from a commercial shop in Odigbo Local Government Area. Among those arrested are Oyinek Joseph, Abioy Yusuf, Abdullahi Quadir, Michael Njoku Agu, Mondai Ikuemehin, and Oloruntimilehin.

The shop owner, Ogunyomi Segun, reported the theft, which occurred between 2024 and January 3, 2026. The stolen items included assorted soft drinks and beverages.

The suspects confessed to the crime during the investigation, and they will face charges in court upon the conclusion of the police inquiry. The Police spokesperson, Abayomi Jimoh, urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to help combat criminal activities in the state.
