Police Arrest Six Suspects Over Killing of Constable in Bayelsa

The Bayelsa State Commissioner of Police, Francis Idu, confirmed the arrest of six suspects in connection with the killing of Police Constable Oboh Goodluck in Amarata. The officer was slain in August by suspected cultists in the OMPADEC area of Yenagoa.

CP Idu vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice, emphasizing that attacks on police officers would not go unpunished. The police force pledged to deploy all available resources to ensure the suspects face the law.

The CP also assured the officer's family of support and proposed a monument in honor of the deceased constable.
