Nigerian Police Arrest Soldier and Vigilante Commander Over Alleged Ritual Killing

The Adamawa State Police Command arrested a soldier identified as Private Tanko Salihu and a vigilante commander named Yahaya Idi Gadzama over the alleged ritual killing of a woman in Mubi North Local Government Area. The suspects reportedly confessed during interrogation.

The Police Commissioner, Dankombo Morri, has ordered the immediate transfer of the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation and possible prosecution. The police have condemned the act as heinous and inhuman, assuring residents that justice will be served.
