Akwa Ibom Police Arrest 2 Suspected Cultists, Seize Arms in Uyo Operation

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command arrested two suspected cultists and recovered arms during a sting operation in Uyo. The police intercepted the suspects, Joshua Benjamin and Kingsley Friday, along Idoro Road in Uyo.

The recovered items included a fabricated revolving rifle and a jack knife. The arrests were part of proactive efforts to combat criminal activities in Akwa Ibom State.

The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Timfon John, highlighted the success of the operation in apprehending the alleged cultists and seizing dangerous weapons, contributing to maintaining law and order in the state.
