Ondo Police Arrest Two Suspected Kidnappers, Recover Bikes

The Ondo State Police Command arrested two suspected members of a kidnapping syndicate, Abubakar Sindiku, aged 25, and Oliv Okoh, aged 35, on Monday along Ado Road in Ilado Community. The arrests were made by the anti-kidnap unit following credible intelligence and tracking analysis.

Preliminary findings revealed that the suspects are part of a notorious kidnapping syndicate operating within the state, utilizing motorcycles for surveillance and logistical support. The police recovered motorcycles during the arrests, which are believed to have facilitated their criminal activities.

The suspects are currently in custody and are assisting the police with information that may lead to the arrest of other gang members. The Ondo State Police Command, under the leadership of Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun, emphasized their commitment to combating kidnapping and violent crime, urging the public to remain vigilant and support security agencies in their efforts to prevent crime.
