Oyo Police Deny Claims of Abducted Pupils in Kaduna

The Oyo State Police Command has categorically dismissed claims that abducted schoolchildren and teachers from the Ahoro Esiel Yawota community in Orir Local Government Area of Oyo State were transported to Kaduna State via helicopter. In a statement released on Tuesday, DSP Ayanlad Olayinka described the circulating video as entirely false, unverifiable, and lacking credible substance.

The police emphasized that the claims do not meet the necessary threshold for authentic information regarding sensitive security matters. The command expressed deep concern over the spread of misinformation, which they believe undermines public confidence in ongoing rescue efforts.

They reiterated their commitment to ensuring the safe return of the abducted victims and urged the public to refrain from sharing unverified reports.
