Police Inspector Dies from Accidental Discharge in Kano

A police inspector in Kano died from an accidental discharge on Saturday at the Hotoro Division. The officer, identified as Ibrahim, reportedly shot himself in the stomach while handling a loaded rifle in the toilet.

He was rushed to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Kano State police command is investigating the incident, with details yet to be released to the public.
