Nigerian Police Kill 3 Bandits in Gombe, Rescue Victims in Successful Operation
In Gombe state, Nigeria, the Nigerian Police conducted an operation where they killed three bandits and rescued victims. The Police Command's spokesperson, DSP Buhari Abdullahi, disclosed that the operation was in response to an attack by suspected armed bandits in Garin Galadima village, Pindiga District, Akko LGA.
The bandits had invaded Rahama and Lambo villages, resulting in casualties and abductions. During the operation, the police successfully neutralized three bandits, rescued victims, and recovered weapons and ammunition.
The police confiscated two AK-47 rifles, ammunition, and motorcycles used by the bandits. Unfortunately, one of the abducted victims was caught in a crossfire and died.
The police are intensifying efforts to combat insecurity in the region.
