Oyo Police Launch Manhunt for Masquerader Killing Suspects

The Oyo State Police Command has initiated a manhunt for four suspects allegedly involved in the killing of 24-year-old Sefiu Kehind. The incident occurred in the Labiran area of Ibadan, where Kehind was reportedly attacked by a masquerader identified as Asolek.

According to Olayinka Ayanlad, the police public relations officer, the attack took place around 4 PM when Kehind was allegedly hacked to death with an axe and cutlass. Following a distress call from Kehind's elder sister, police officers from the Mapo Division responded promptly, but Kehind was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

The police have confirmed that efforts are ongoing to apprehend the suspects, and the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation. The Oyo State Police Command has urged the public to provide credible information to assist in the investigation.
