Police Rescue Three Kidnap Victims in Kaduna State

The Kaduna State Police Command successfully rescued three kidnapping victims who had spent 40 days in captivity. The operation, which took place on a Saturday, was led by DSP Mansir Hassan and involved a joint security team, including personnel from the Fushin Kada and the Division Police Officer (DPO) of Hunkuyi.

Following sustained intelligence gathering and strategic surveillance, the team located the suspects' hideout. Upon the arrival of security personnel, the bandits fled, abandoning the victims, who were subsequently rescued unharmed.

The victims were identified as Ekechikwu Omal, Ummi Salisu, and another individual from Kudan Local Government Area in Kaduna State, and a pastor named Daniel Tanko from Bawa Tufa village in Niger State. After the rescue, the victims were taken to a police clinic for medical examination and treatment before being reunited with their families.

Five suspects were arrested during the investigation, with preliminary findings indicating their involvement in providing logistical support to the kidnappers. State Commissioner of Police Rabiu Muhammad commended the collaborative efforts among security agencies in this operation.
