Police Rescue Kidnap Victims and Arrest Suspect in Kebbi State Operation

The Kebbi State Police Command in Nigeria achieved a significant breakthrough in the fight against kidnapping by rescuing two abducted victims and apprehending a suspect during a coordinated security operation in Kalgo Dandi Local Government Area. The victims were safely rescued without any injuries due to the prompt response of the security operatives and the effective synergy with the Vigilant Group Nigeria.

The police spokesperson, SP Bashir Usman, confirmed the successful operation and highlighted the ongoing investigations to apprehend other members of the kidnapping gang. This rescue operation came just 24 hours after a similar success in Dandi LGA, where the police responded to an abduction in Maigwaza Village, resulting in the rescue of a victim who was immediately taken to Maigwaza Hospital for medical evaluation and treatment.

The police have intensified security surveillance in the area to prevent further incidents and ensure the safety of residents. The Kebbi State Police Command reiterated its commitment to intelligence-driven proactive policing to dismantle kidnapping networks across the state, urging the public to provide credible information to enhance security efforts.
