Niger Police Arrest Burglars, Rescue 10 Kidnap Victims in State Operations

The Niger State Police Command has apprehended two suspected burglars, Ahm Jibril and Sani Ndagi, in operations across the state. Ahm Jibril was arrested in Suleja following complaints of house break-ins, leading to the recovery of stolen items.

Sani Ndagi, connected to house break-ins and thefts in Bida, was also arrested. Additionally, the police rescued 10 kidnap victims during an operation in Mariga LGA.

The victims were saved after a gun battle with kidnappers in Mai Laka village along the Bangi-Kotonkoro road. Investigations are ongoing, with the suspects to be arraigned in court.
