Nigerian Police, FBI, US Secret Service Arrest Cyber Fraud Suspects

The Nigeria Police Force, FBI, and US Secret Service collaborated to apprehend three suspects in Lagos and Edo State for cybercrimes targeting corporate email systems. The suspects utilized phishing links and malware to compromise business emails, resulting in data breaches and financial losses.

The arrests followed intelligence received from Microsoft and FBI regarding a sophisticated phishing toolkit called Raccoon365. The suspects identified include Benjamin Hundeyin, Okitipi Samuel, and Mose Felix, who were involved in developing fraudulent Microsoft login portals and selling phishing links through a Telegram channel.
