Abia State Governor Appoints Deutsch Detchoua Gustav Emmanuel as New Enyimba Head Coach

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has approved the appointment of Deutsch Detchoua Gustav Emmanuel as the new Head Coach of Enyimba International Football Club based in Aba, Nigeria. The announcement was made by the Abia State Commissioner, Okei Kanu, citing the club's recent decline in performance.

Governor Otti aims to enhance the club's professionalism and sustain strong corporate governance. Deutsch Detchoua Gustav Emmanuel, a highly experienced football tactician with CAF B License, has a successful track record in coaching reputable clubs in Nigeria and Cameroon.

The Governor expressed confidence in Emmanuel's technical competence and professionalism to contribute significantly to rebuilding Enyimba. Previously, the club had appointed Deji Ayeni, the former Crown FC coach, as the Head Coach but suffered a 2-0 defeat to Niger Tornadoes in Minna.
