Kaduna APC Aspirant Accused of Faking Age at 15

Mahmud Sadisu Buba, a prominent aspirant for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna, faces serious allegations of age falsification. Documents have surfaced indicating that he is only 15 years old, born on August 27, 2010, which contradicts his claim of being 30 years old.

The allegations have prompted political opponents to file a formal petition challenging his eligibility to contest for a seat in the National Assembly. The petition includes various documents such as an international passport, a National Identification Number (NIN), and a hospital birth certificate, all of which explicitly list his date of birth.

Furthermore, evidence suggests that Buba was recently enrolled as a junior secondary school student, raising questions about his political aspirations. Family members have taken to social media to confirm the authenticity of the leaked documents and have criticized the situation, describing it as an exploitation of a minor.

The controversy escalates as the APC primary elections are scheduled for May 16.
