APC Aspirant Mahmud Sadi Buba Withdraws from Race

Mahmud Sadi Buba, a 30-year-old aspirant for the House of Representatives seat representing the Sabon Gari federal constituency, announced his withdrawal from the race via a statement shared on his official Facebook page on Saturday. Buba's decision to step down was made after consultations with his family, political associates, and party stakeholders, emphasizing the need for reconciliation within the APC.

He urged party members to rally behind a single candidate ahead of the general elections, stating that the decision was not easy but necessary for unity. Buba expressed gratitude to the leadership of the APC in Kaduna State, including Governor Uba Sani, for the opportunity to participate in the nomination process.

He reassured his loyalty to the APC and called for calm and support for the party's eventual candidate. His withdrawal comes amid public discussions regarding allegations of falsified documents linked to his candidacy, although no official indictments have been made.
