Popular Nollywood Actor, Segun Remi Is Dead

Nollywood actor Segun Remi, popularly known as Chief Kanran, has passed away at the age of 72. The news was confirmed by celebrity journalist Seun Oloketuyi on Instagram.

Chief Kanran was a household name in the Yoruba film industry, known for his unique style, humor, and commanding performances in numerous stage plays and movies over several decades. While details surrounding his death were not disclosed at the time of the report, Seun mentioned that the actor had been battling Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH).
