Portable Welcomes Baby Boy After Boxing Match Loss

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, announced the birth of his baby boy, Jamal Iremid, on Instagram shortly after his boxing match against skit maker Carter Efe in Lagos. The match, held at Balmor Hall, ended in a unanimous decision in favor of Carter Efe, which Portable contested as unfair.

He expressed his displeasure over the fight's outcome, claiming it was decided unjustly. The timing of the baby's arrival coincided with the fight, as Portable's wife, Omobewaji Ewatomi, gave birth while he was in the ring.

Portable, who already has two children, expressed a desire for a third child and indicated that the birth of his son is a significant addition to his family. Omobewaji confirmed the birth on social media, sharing a message of gratitude and indicating the child's name.
