Stakeholders Advocate Renewable Energy Solutions in Nigeria

Stakeholders in Nigeria are pushing for renewable energy solutions to tackle the country's ongoing power crisis. A recent engagement in Ibadan, Oyo State, organized by Nexgen Energy in collaboration with Techfin, focused on improving service delivery in renewable energy.

Mr. Noah Ojo, head of the technical department at Nexgen Energy, emphasized the need to identify challenges and brainstorm solutions in the renewable energy sector.

The training aimed to equip stakeholders with knowledge about available products and market trends. Mr.

Taiwo Igbasan highlighted the importance of understanding product applications for installations. Concerns about inexperienced engineers and the quality of solar energy products were raised by Mr.

Odekanmi Oluwadamilare. The training also aimed to facilitate direct connections between dealers and manufacturers.

Kemi Aiyekitan and Olawunmi Akand noted the importance of continuous technological updates in the renewable energy sector to meet market demands and improve product quality.
