Presidency Reveals Reasons for Secrecy in Kwara Victims' Rescue Operation

The Presidency, through Special Adviser Bola Tinubu, sheds light on the secrecy surrounding the rescue operation of 38 abducted worshippers in Kwara State. Security agencies prioritized the mission's coordination and confidentiality to ensure the safety of the victims.

The Federal Government maintains that operational details will not be publicly disclosed. The Nigerian State Services and military made contact with the kidnappers during negotiations.
