Presidency Details Rescue of 130 Kidnapped Niger Schoolchildren

The Presidency disclosed the rescue of 130 schoolchildren kidnapped by bandits in Niger State through a military intelligence-driven operation. The children, students of St.

Mary's Catholic School in Papiri, Niger State, are expected to reunite with their parents in Minna. Special Adviser to the President, Bola Tinubu, confirmed the release of the children and stated that none of them were left in captivity.

The children were all smiles in a photo accompanying the announcement.
