El Kanemi Warriors vs Wikki Tourists in Federation Cup Semi-Final

The semi-finals of the Federation Cup are set to take place, featuring a match between El Kanemi Warriors and Wikki Tourists at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina. El Kanemi Warriors, a three-time winner of the competition, previously lifted the trophy in 1991 and 1992, with their most recent victory in 2024 after defeating Kano Pillars 3-2 in the final.

Wikki Tourists, based in Bauchi, are aiming to return to the final for the first time since winning the title in 1998. They previously eliminated Jigawa Golden Stars, Jnr Bayelsa United, and Kada Warriors to reach this stage.

The second semi-final will feature Ikorodu City against Nasarawa United at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City. Ikorodu City, who lost in the penalty shootout at this stage last year, are looking to bounce back after narrowly missing out on a continental ticket last season.

The stakes are high as all four teams aim to keep their Federation Cup dreams alive.
