El-Kanemi Warriors, Ikorodu City FC Set for Fed Cup Final

El-Kanemi Warriors and Ikorodu City FC have advanced to the final of the 2026 President Feder Cup following impressive semi-final performances. El-Kanemi secured their spot by defeating Wikki Tourist 3-1, with Daddi Abdulrahman, Musa Bashir, and Ismail Wikki contributing to their first-half lead.

Wikki Tourist managed to reduce the deficit with a penalty converted by Bala Imamu shortly after the hour mark. Meanwhile, Ikorodu City battled to a 1-1 draw against Nasarawa United, with Ibrahim Ayoola scoring first for Ikorodu in the 11th minute.

Nasarawa equalized through Bright Amadi's goal from a corner just before halftime. The match ended without a winner, leading to a penalty shootout where Ikorodu City's goalkeeper Derrick Julu made two crucial saves, sending his team to their first major cup final.

The final is scheduled to take place at Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba on June 27, with both teams aiming to lift Nigeria's oldest domestic cup trophy.
