President Tinubu of Nigeria has reportedly approved a $9 million lobbying contract with a Washington-based firm, DCI Group, to engage with the Trump administration amidst rising tensions. The deal, arranged by Nuhu Ribadu and Aster Legal, focuses on Nigeria's security challenges, especially the ongoing killings of Christians in the northern region.

The contract involves monthly payments and aims to present Nigeria's efforts to protect Christian communities and seek US support for counterterrorism operations. The move comes after concerns over Nigeria's security vetting system and a partial travel ban imposed by the US government.
